The Shabbat candle has been lit -

time once again to celebrate the first of G-d' s feasts

and to rest in Him after a busy week!

May His Light fill your heart and home tonight!

Shabbat Shalom!

Tonight is VERY special -

not only is it Shabbat

(the first feast day that Adonai gave us)

but it is also the 6th Night of Hanukkah!

It has been a joyful celebration

of God's blessings and light all week

here at Little Prairie Home!

And tonight is even more special because

it is two holidays in one!

Lots of good food

(gotta love latkes with sour cream & applesauce! Mmmm!)

Great music, and friends!

So, from my little patch of prairie

to your sweet home -

It's time to light the candles,

and celebrate our Messiah Yeshua, the Light of the World!

This is the first night of Hanukkah,

also known as the Festival of Lights, or the Feast of Dedication!

Here is my simple menorah,

from last year.

"Light is shed on the righteous,

and joy on the upright in heart."

(Ps. 97:11)
